Invitation for Bids: Districtwide Garbage & Recycling Services

The Board of Education of Crete-Monee School District 201-U, Will County, Illinois, (“School District” or “Board”) is requesting and accepting sealed bids from qualified Contractors for 2-year Districtwide Garbage & Recycling Services at Crete-Monee School District 201-U properties.

Deadline for Submission of Bids: Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
Bid Opening:
Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
Board Review and anticipated award:
Tuesday, May 19, 2026

Bids from vendors must be submitted in a sealed envelope on or before the date and time of opening. Bids will NOT be accepted by fax, email, or other transmissions.

Bids received after date and time of opening will be returned to the vendor unopened. We are not responsible for U.S. mail. Postmarks do not validate the bid; we must have sealed envelope in hand before the deadline. If you are going to submit a bid, please make sure that you thoroughly read and follow the bid specifications as outlined. Please also take the time to read carefully the Guidelines outlined on our website.
